Suman (TPN, Tiruchanur): The auspicious occasion saw Sri Padmavati Devi, the revered deity of Tiruchanur, delighting devotees as she paraded through the streets of Bangaru Tiruchi Pi Mada on Friday evening. The day commenced with the goddess being awakened in the morning with traditional “good morning” prayers and regular kainkaryas.
As part of the day’s festivities, a special abhishek was performed in the afternoon for the utsavars of Sri Padmavati Devi in the Mukha Mandapam of Sri Krishnaswami Temple. In the evening, the goddess was adorned in exquisite decorations and worshipped at Tiruchi.
Dressed in resplendent attire, Sri Padmavati Devi then embarked on a procession through the four Mada streets of Koluvudiri on Tiruchi, extending blessings and solace to her devoted followers. A multitude of devotees gathered to offer camphor neerajanas to the goddess, adding to the divine ambiance of the procession.
The event witnessed the participation of esteemed temple officials, including Temple Deputy EO Govinda Rajan, AEO Ramesh, Superintendent Seshagiri, Agama Advisors Srinivasacharyu, Priests Babuswamy, AVSO Satish Kumar, VI Pratap, as well as Inspectors Prasad, Ganesh, Ashok, Subhaskar, and others, contributing to the successful and spiritually uplifting celebration.
