Renowned film producer Dil Raju has made intriguing comments regarding the ticket prices for films in Telangana, stating that he would ask Telangana's IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) to increase ticket rates. During discussions about his latest project Game Changer, Raju expressed concerns over the need for government support in the film industry, particularly for high-budget films. He highlighted that raising ticket prices would result in 18% of the earnings going to the government, thus benefitting both the industry and the state.
Raju also noted that previous governments had supported the film industry, and he hoped the current Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekar Rao, would continue that support. He emphasized that the Telugu film industry has been producing films on a global scale, leading to international recognition.
In light of the tragic incident where two young men lost their lives while returning from the Game Changer event, Dil Raju strongly advised against such dangerous activities and mentioned that he had requested actor Ram Charan to take action. Raju assured the families of the victims that a financial aid of Rs. 5 lakh would be sent immediately to help them.
