TPN , Vijayawada: Raghurama Krishna Raju, a prominent political figure, visited the Indrakeeladri Amma Varu temple to participate in the Dussehra Sharannavaratri festivities. Reflecting on his visit, he noted that it had been five years since he last had the darshan of the deity due to restrictions imposed by the previous government that prevented access to Andhra Pradesh.
Returning after a five-year gap, Raju expressed his happiness at the arrangements made at Indrakeeladri, stating that everything was well-organized for the devotees. He shared his sentiments about the prasadam offered, particularly the laddus, which he regards with reverence, comparing them to the prasadam received at Tirumala and emphasizing their sacredness, whether from Amma Varu or other temples.
