President Draupadi Murmu is set to arrive in Hyderabad tomorrow, September 28, where she will serve as the chief guest at the 21st convocation ceremony of Nalsar University.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the event and manage the expected influx of traffic, authorities have announced traffic restrictions across various parts of the city. Additional CP (Traffic) Vishwaprasad stated that traffic diversions will begin from 9 am on Saturday in key areas including Begumpet, HPS, PNT Junction, Rasoolpura, CTO Plaza, Tivoli, Karkhana, Tirumalagiri, Lothkunta, and Bollaram Rashtrapati Nilayam.
In preparation for the President’s visit, Collector Anudeep Durishetti conducted a review of security arrangements involving multiple departments, including Police, Revenue, R&B, Medical Health, Fire, Forest, and Electricity, at the President’s residence in Bollaram. The focus of these preparations is to ensure safety and minimize traffic disruptions on the roads.
Authorities are also monitoring the setup of various stalls representing eight states and four food courts, along with a media center, all of which have been established at the President’s residence in anticipation of her visit.
