TPN , Vijayawada – MP Keshineni Shivnath participated in a significant financial aid release program aimed at providing compensation to flood victims, alongside Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at the NTR District Collector’s office. During the event, the Chief Minister urged MPs, MLAs, and officials to report ongoing issues affecting the flooded areas.
Highlighting the plight of small shop owners affected by the floods, MP Shivnath requested the Chief Minister to extend compensation to those businesses that were inundated. He pointed out that many small shops are not registered under remuneration schemes due to the absence of necessary licenses, such as trade, labor, and commercial licenses.
In his address, Shivnath emphasized the importance of supporting flood victims by allowing the establishment of small grocery shops on the ground floor, ensuring a pathway for economic recovery. He called for a thorough physical verification process to assess the damages and support the affected entrepreneurs.
Chief Minister Naidu responded positively to Shivnath’s suggestions, instructing NTR District Collector Srujana to take the necessary steps to implement these measures. This collaborative approach aims to alleviate the hardships faced by small business owners and help the community recover from the recent disaster.
