TPN , Gudivada – In a significant initiative to support sanitation workers, Gudiwada MLA Venigandla Ramu inaugurated the Safai Mitra Suraksha Vaidya Camp at Gudivada Government Area Hospital on Monday morning. The camp, organized by the Central and State Governments, aims to provide essential medical examinations for sanitation workers across various government departments.
During the inauguration, MLA Ramu commended the invaluable services rendered by sanitation workers, highlighting their crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the community. “The services of sanitation workers are immeasurable; they work tirelessly for the betterment of society,” he stated.
The Safai Mitra Suraksha Vaidya Camp will be operational until October 2nd, offering specialized medical tests for sanitation workers in the Gudivada constituency. MLA Ramu encouraged these workers to take full advantage of the medical services provided.
Hospital Superintendent Indira Devi confirmed that the camp is designed to ensure the health and safety of sanitation workers, who play a vital role in keeping the environment clean.
The event also saw the participation of various local leaders, including TDP representatives Peddu Srikanth, Yarlagadda Sudharani, Polasi Umaiah, Gudivada BJP president Yarrapothu Arjun, and district leaders Surya Lakshminarayana Gandhi. Additionally, officials from various government departments and medical experts were present to support the initiative.
