Minister Kolla Ravindra Criticizes Jagan’s Cancellation of Tirupati Visit

TPN , Machilipatnam – Minister Kolla Ravindra has made strong remarks regarding Former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s cancellation of his visit to Tirupati. He accused Jagan of lacking faith in Lord Venkateswara, questioning why he chose to cancel the trip.

Ravindra expressed his disdain for Jagan’s criticism of the government following the cancellation, stating, “It’s shameful for you to criticize the government after deciding not to go to Tirupati.” He challenged Jagan, asking, “What’s stopping you from signing the declaration and visiting?”

He remarked that Tirupati has lost its sanctity under the five-year rule of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), leading many people to refrain from visiting. “Once a good government is in place, thousands, even lakhs, will walk to Tirupati,” he added.

Ravindra defended past dignitaries like Sonia Gandhi and Abdul Kalam, who signed declarations and made the pilgrimage, emphasizing that no one was given notices to refrain from attending.

He stated, “We have taken measures to prevent disturbances and ensure public safety.” The minister also noted that many Hindu organizations are currently anxious due to Jagan’s behavior.

Addressing comments made by Perni Nani, Ravindra asserted that Nani is not qualified to discuss issues of political violence, questioning his record over the past five years, including the alleged attacks on TDP and Jana Sena leaders’ homes and his own imprisonment on serious charges.

He concluded by promising that an investigation into Nani’s alleged corruption would be conducted and details will be made public soon.
