TPN , Hyderabad : Former Minister and BRS MLA Ch. Malla Reddy has made startling remarks regarding the ongoing issues surrounding the Hyderabad Development Authority (Hydra), claiming it has caused unrest and sleeplessness among residents of Telangana. Speaking to the media in Yadagirigutta, Reddy revealed that he himself has received notices from Hydra and expressed his discontent over the demolition of homes, stating, “It is not right to demolish houses and throw people onto the roads.”
Reddy emphasized that his colleges were established during the Congress regime and criticized the party for allegedly using Hydra as a distraction tactic to divert attention from pressing issues. He questioned the necessity of demolishing homes, suggesting that such actions resemble a war against the citizens of Telangana.
He also called out Congress leaders for their attempts to undermine Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and his son, KTR. Reddy issued a challenge to the Congress government, claiming that if they can achieve greater agricultural yields than during KCR’s tenure, he would treat them with milk.
Highlighting the lack of unity among Congress ministers, he criticized their failure to fulfill electoral promises, particularly concerning farmer assurances and loan waivers. Reddy’s statements reflect a growing concern over the political climate in Telangana and the impact of Hydra’s actions on the community.
