TPN, Telangana: Minister Konda Surekha expressed her hurt over BRS Working President KTR’s emotional reaction to her comments. She explained that while criticizing him, she accidentally mentioned a family. In a media conference held today in Hanumakonda, Minister Konda Surekha clarified that she holds no personal animosity toward anyone.
Minister Surekha further stated, “I have withdrawn my comments because I never intended to hurt anyone. I made this decision to ensure that the pain I may have caused others is not prolonged. That’s why I posted on the ‘X’ platform (formerly Twitter) in response to this matter. However, when it comes to KTR, there’s no question of stepping back. He should apologize. But strangely, he expects an apology from me. This is absurd. He is the one at fault, and legal action will be pursued,” said Minister Surekha.
Minister Surekha has already issued an apology to Samantha on the ‘X’ platform. She clarified that the purpose of her comments was to question the belittling attitude of a leader toward women, not to hurt anyone’s sentiments. Minister Surekha also acknowledged Samantha’s self-reliance and expressed admiration for her. She added that if her comments offended Samantha or her fans, she would withdraw them unconditionally. Minister Surekha urged everyone not to misinterpret her statements in her post on ‘X.’
