HYDRA Responds to Demolition Controversy at Mallakpur Lake

TPN , Hyderabad : HYDRA has issued a critical statement regarding the recent demolitions at Mallakpur Lake in Sangareddy, clarifying its non-involvement in the actions that have sparked controversy on social media. Commissioner A.V. Ranganath addressed the allegations linking HYDRA to the demolitions, asserting that the agency is not responsible for them.

Ranganath expressed concern over the spread of false information, warning that legal action would be taken against those circulating misleading news about HYDRA. He emphasized that the agency’s jurisdiction is limited to the Outer Ring Road and criticized the attempts to tarnish HYDRA’s reputation through unsubstantiated claims.

He described as unfortunate the social media reports suggesting that HYDRA was responsible for the injuries to security personnel during the incident. Additionally, he addressed the case of a woman named Buchamma, who reportedly attempted suicide over fears of her home being demolished near Kukatpally Lake, clarifying that HYDRA had not issued any notices to her.

Ranganath urged the public and media to refrain from perpetuating false narratives and emphasized that misinformation regarding recent demolitions in Adilabad and other areas has unfairly implicated HYDRA.
