TPN , Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner K. Ilambarithi announced that all firecracker-selling shops must obtain a valid trade license before setting up operations. No permission will be granted to open a shop without the required license.
The Commissioner outlined the fees for obtaining a trade license: Rs 11,000 for retail shops and Rs 66,000 for wholesale shops. Traders can apply for a Temporary Trade Identification Number (TTIN) through the Citizen Service Center or the official GHMC website.
This move aims to regulate the sale of firecrackers, ensuring safety and compliance with legal requirements. The GHMC is urging all traders to adhere to the rules to avoid penalties or closure of their businesses.
