CM Naidu’s Key Comments in Meeting with Activists
Posts based on performance, not recommendations
Ministers and MLAs warned against negligence
Performance ratings to be implemented
Telugu Desam Party chief and Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu made crucial remarks during a meeting with party leaders and workers of Parchur constituency in Kothagollapalem, Chinaganjam mandal, Bapatla district on Tuesday. His statements, which emphasized merit over recommendations, surprised even ministers and MLAs.
Chandrababu Naidu clarified that posts will not be granted merely based on recommendations from ministers or MLAs. Instead, nominated and party positions will be allotted strictly based on performance. Those who work diligently to secure maximum votes at the polling booth level will be recognized and rewarded accordingly.
He stated that the performance of ministers, MPs, MLAs, and leaders, including himself, would be regularly assessed and rated. This performance-based approach aims to encourage continuous improvement.
Issuing a stern warning, Chandrababu made it clear that negligence would not be tolerated. Any individual failing to perform effectively would be sidelined. His message emphasized providing opportunities to capable individuals committed to strengthening the party.
