TPN ,Vijayawada – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has strongly asserted his administration’s commitment to transparency and integrity in flood relief operations, emphasizing a “zero corruption, zero manipulation” policy. During a press conference held in Vijayawada, he addressed recent allegations made by the Blue Media regarding the distribution of relief in the city.

Naidu expressed frustration over misleading articles published by the media, particularly concerning the relief efforts in the 38th ward of Vijayawada. He highlighted a dispute over claims that floodwaters did not affect the area, stating, “Despite the assertions, we have provided 25 kg packets of rice to those in need as a humanitarian gesture.”

The Chief Minister underscored the importance of trust in the ongoing relief efforts, revealing that approximately Rs. 400 crore has been donated by various individuals and organizations, all of whom are confident that their contributions will reach the true victims of the floods. “We are working with full transparency to maintain that trust,” he stated.

Naidu cautioned against any irregularities in handling the donations, declaring that any acts of misconduct would not be tolerated, whether by individuals or organizations. He urged those who might have mismanaged funds to correct their mistakes and return the money.

Chandrababu’s remarks reflect a commitment to ensuring that the significant support received is utilized responsibly and effectively, reinforcing the need for integrity in public service during times of crisis.
