TPN , Amaravati :Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has issued a stern warning regarding the recent adulteration scandal surrounding the Tirumala Srivari Prasadam Laddu, emphasizing that those responsible will face severe repercussions. During a review meeting with ministers and senior officials on Saturday, Naidu underscored the sensitivity of the issue, which affects the sentiments of millions of Srivari devotees.
“This matter is of utmost importance, and we will ensure that those who have committed wrongdoings do not escape accountability,” the CM declared. He has directed TTD Executive Officer (EO) to provide a comprehensive report on the laddu adulteration case by the end of the day.
Naidu highlighted that the purity of laddu production has declined during the previous administration and confirmed that an in-depth investigation is underway to examine the use of substandard materials in its manufacturing process. He expressed concern for the devotees of Srivari worldwide and assured them that the government would take appropriate measures to maintain the sanctity of Tirumala.
To further address the issue, Naidu committed to consulting with Agama, Vedic, and Dharmika Parishads to ensure that the revered status of the Tirumala Laddu is preserved for future generations. The controversy has ignited widespread outrage among devotees, making the government’s response critical in restoring faith in the revered temple’s offerings.
