TPN , Bengaluru – A case has been registered against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah by the Lokayukta in connection with the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land case. The Special Court has authorized an inquiry under the Lokayukta Act regarding the allegations.
Siddaramaiah has been named as accused number one (A1) in the FIR. Other individuals implicated in the case include his wife Parvathi, brother-in-law Mallikarjun, and additional associates.
The allegations stem from a complaint filed by social activist Ibrahim, who accused Siddaramaiah and his family members of improperly benefiting from the allotment of MUDA plots, alleging misuse of authority in the process. Following this complaint, the Governor granted permission for Siddaramaiah to be interrogated as part of the ongoing investigation.
In response to the Governor’s decision, Siddaramaiah approached the High Court, where his petition was also dismissed, leaving him to face the legal proceedings related to the allegations.
