TPN ,Andhra Pradesh: In a significant political development, former YSR Congress Party (YCP) leader and ex-minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy officially joined the Jana Sena Party today. The induction ceremony took place at the Jana Sena Party headquarters in Mangalagiri, where party chief Pawan Kalyan warmly welcomed Balineni by presenting him with the party scarf.
Balineni, a close relative of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, recently resigned from the YCP, making his move to the Jana Sena a key moment in the state’s political landscape. Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan expressed confidence in Balineni’s ability to contribute to the party’s efforts in the coming months.
Joining Balineni were former YCP MLAs Samineni Udayabhanu and Kilari Roshaiah, both of whom also resigned from the ruling party. They were similarly welcomed into the Jana Sena by Pawan Kalyan, who urged them to work diligently to help strengthen the party’s presence across Andhra Pradesh.
The entry of these prominent leaders is seen as a strategic move by Pawan Kalyan to reinforce the Jana Sena Party, especially as the state prepares for upcoming elections. Pawan Kalyan highlighted the importance of working as a united front to build a robust political alternative for the people of Andhra Pradesh. With these recent defections from the YCP, political analysts believe the Jana Sena is positioning itself to be a stronger contender in the state’s political arena.
