Train Derails in Palnadu, Andhra Pradesh: Authorities Launch Rescue Operations

Another tragic incident has occurred in Andhra Pradesh, with a goods train derailing in the Palnadu district. The derailment took place at the Srinivasapuram railway gate in the Dachepalli mandal. The goods train, which was traveling from Nadikudi to Pendugula, was en route to the Vishnupuram Rashi Cement Factory in Telangana for cement loading when it went off the tracks.

As a result, traffic at the railway gate came to a halt for a brief period. Authorities were immediately alerted, and railway police and officials swiftly reached the scene to initiate rescue operations. In response to the disruption, trains traveling between Guntur and Hyderabad were diverted via Vijayawada.

Efforts are ongoing by the railway police and officials to clear the derailed goods train and restore normal operations.
