TDP Leader Budda Venkanna Pays Tribute to NTR, Defends Party Legacy
On the occasion of N.T. Rama Rao’s 29th death anniversary, TDP leader Budda Venkanna paid homage to the late leader and reflected on the lasting impact of his vision.
Venkanna emphasized that NTR founded TDP to uplift marginalized communities, providing them with political representation and opportunities. He praised NTR's policies, particularly his efforts for women's rights, including inheritance laws.
Venkanna highlighted that under Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership, TDP continued NTR’s legacy and achieved greater success. He also noted that Nara Lokesh is the future leader of the party, ensuring its continued growth.
Addressing Lakshmi Parvathi's controversial remarks, Venkanna condemned her criticism of TDP leaders and questioned her decision to leave the party despite claiming to be part of NTR’s family. He criticized her alliance with Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's party and reiterated that while NTR laid the foundation, it was Chandrababu Naidu who strengthened and sustained TDP’s position.
