The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) organized the Snapana Thirumanjanam program at the Dashashwamedha Ghat during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela, the world’s largest religious gathering. Led by the chief priest of the Tirumala Srivari Temple, Sri Venugopal Dikshitulu, a team of priests performed the sacred ceremony for Sridevi, Bhudevi, and Sri Srinivasa Swamyvaragi on the banks of the holy river Ganga.

The ritual, conducted with sacred ingredients such as milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric, and sandalwood, enthralled the local devotees with its devotional significance. The priests recited the five sacred Suktas—Sri Suktam, Bhusuktam, Neela Suktam, Purush Suktam, and Narayana Suktam—during the abhishekam, adding to the divine aura.

After the abhishekam, the idols were adorned with Tulsi garlands, following the prescribed scriptures and with the use of Sahasradharapatra. The sacred Sri Chakratalwar was then taken into the Ganges river, accompanied by the sounds of auspicious instruments and Vedic chants. Special poojas and aartis were offered to Sri Chakratalwar, culminating in the grand Chakrasnana Mahotsav.

HDPP Secretary Sri Sriram Raghunath, Estate Officer Sri Gunabhushan Reddy, Superintendent Sri Guru Rajaswamy, and other officials participated in the spiritual event. The rituals added to the grandeur of the Maha Kumbh Mela, leaving the devotees in a state of deep devotion and spiritual fulfillment.
