In a narrow escape from a major disaster, an RTC bus caught fire in the Nellore district. The incident occurred near Mannaetikota Crossroad on the highway, while the super luxury bus was en route from Tirupati to Tiruvuru.
As the bus reached Mannaetikota, flames suddenly erupted from the vehicle. The alert driver quickly responded by evacuating all 19 passengers on board, preventing any casualties. Thankfully, the prompt action of the driver ensured that all passengers were safely evacuated from the bus before the fire could spread further.
The fire completely destroyed the bus, but fortunately, no lives were lost in the incident. The passengers were left relieved after escaping the potential disaster. Local authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
