CM Chandrababu to Launch 'Swarn Kuppam' Scheme with ₹1500 Crore Investment Today

Today, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to visit his home constituency, Kuppam, where he will focus on the development of the region. His three-day visit will highlight the launch of the "Swarn Kuppam" scheme, aimed at transforming Kuppam into a model constituency. Under the scheme, the Chief Minister will unveil the 'Swarn Kuppam - Vision 2029', a comprehensive development plan for the next five years.

As part of this initiative, the Kuppam region will receive ₹1,500 crore worth of development projects. Among the significant investments is the plan to provide solar power to over 50,000 households in the constituency, with an estimated cost of ₹1,000 crore. The scheme is expected to elevate the standard of living for the residents and establish Kuppam as a role model for development in the state.

In addition to energy projects, the government has prepared 92 development plans amounting to ₹92 crore in 17 areas of Kuppam. These plans aim to ensure comprehensive development, including employment opportunities for nearly three lakh people. Additionally, two new dairy units will be set up to boost the dairy industry in the region.

The overall goal of the "Swarn Kuppam" initiative is to enhance the quality of life for the people of Kuppam and foster sustainable growth in the region.
