The Andhra Pradesh Village Revenue Officers Association (AP VROs Association) unanimously elected its new state executive committee for 2026–2029 at an election held at Revenue Bhavan in Vijayawada on Friday. VROs from various districts attended the state council meeting and elected the new team without any contest.
Kona Anjaneya Kumar (Chanti) was elected state president, while M. Bapuji was elected general secretary. T. Srinivasa Rao was elected vice-president, G. Anupama as deputy president, G. Dilleswara Rao as publicity secretary and K. Sahithi as organising secretary.
APRSA state president Bopparaju Venkateswarlu said the unanimous election reflected the unity of VROs across the state. He said VROs play an important role in delivering government services at the village level and urged them to work with responsibility and transparency.
The new committee said it would work for employees’ rights and welfare while improving the speed, transparency and quality of revenue services provided to the public
