The Andhra Pradesh government has announced recruitment for 2,050 posts in the Police Department, bringing good news to candidates preparing for police jobs. The Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB) has released a notification for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SI) and Constables.
378 SI Posts
A total of 378 SI posts have been announced. These include 253 Civil SI posts, 116 Armed Reserve (AR) posts and 9 Special Protection Force (SPF) posts. In addition, notifications have been issued for 50 Communication SI posts and 10 Police Transport Organisation (PTO) posts.
1,156 Constable Posts
The recruitment also includes 1,156 Constable posts across different categories, including Civil and Armed Reserve positions. Details regarding eligibility, age limit, application procedure, examination fee and selection process will be available in the official notification.
